Tennis Court Lighting
At Pure Innovate, we understand that tennis court lighting is complex, specialist work. This doesn’t mean that installing an effective system needs to be complex for you.
Whether you represent a club, council, school or private court, we can devise and install a lighting system that reflects your vision, whilst staying compliant with all relevant regulations.
Tennis Court Lighting for Clubs, Councils and Private Courts
Tennis Clubs
Lighting on a tennis court goes beyond visibility. Choosing the right setup means creating the right vibe for your club and keeping your members happy.
Councils and Schools
Public courts need quality lighting setups for safety and playability. Pure Innovate’s range of high-output LED fixtures are designed to tick these boxes, serving the aspirant young players and older casuals in your community alike.
Private/residential courts
Lighting on a private court has to match your standards. From single-pole setups to full court coverage, creating a well-lit space for evening play can make or break your court’s usability.
Tennis Court Lighting Specifications and Standards
Australian regulations permit different lux (light) levels for competition play compared with recreational courts. AS 2560.2.1, the Australian standard which governs tennis court lighting, allows for 350 lux in the principal playing area for club competition and 250 lux for recreation court use. The standard also sets uniformity requirements, ensuring light is spread evenly across the court rather than leaving darker patches that can affect play.
