Street Light Optics and Light Distribution
Optics refers to the lens or reflector which purposefully shapes and directs the light based on the specifics of your project.
Optics distribution is broken down into five categories: Type I to Type V. Type I will provide a narrow strip of lighting ideal for footpaths, where Type V refers to full circle lighting, often used for wide open spaces like carparks.
Which optic you use will be aligned with the space you wish to illuminate, and is contingent on pole height and spacing.
